{5 on Friday} $10 Secret Santa Gifts

Every year at school, my friends and I have had a holiday party to celebrate the end of the year and also the end of the semester. To make things more fun, along with food and drink we have always incorporated a type of gift exchange. Last year we had a secret santa party, but this year we are going to have a white elephant exchange because we will have more people joining us this year.

For everyone else that is also doing a party, or are just looking for smaller gifts - here are some ideas for gifts in the ~$10 range to surprise and impress your friends!

{one}
Adult coloring books

Lately adult coloring books have appeared everywhere and they have gained so much popularity! I have to admit, I first thought that these were kinda a waste of time and money, but over Thanksgiving I found one at Barnes and Noble for $6, and I have been addicted! It's a great way to just relax and take some time for yourself. Especially during finals! I can just take 30 minutes put on a Netflix show and color in a page. The one I listed for you is under $10, but I have found some at other bookstores that are even cheaper!

Fun Notebooks or Folders

Crazy fun and graphic notebooks are always really cool and fun to have. However, because they tend to be a little pricier than your normal Mead notebooks and such, most people opt to not buy them. But with the second semester of school coming after the holidays, why not get some fun school supplies for someone as a nice splurge gift! Plus it's something they will get some good use out of too!

Hot chocolate kit

Okay so this is more DIY, but you can also buy things like this at Target or Etsy. But with the holidays coming, hot chocolate tends to be the favorite classic drink. This gift is really easy, all you need is a container of such and you can fill in all the ingredients that you need! You can also add in other elements, like a mug, a spoon, or a small bottle of bailey's for those who are of legal drinking age!

Candles

Candles are a great gift no matter the season. There are tons of different smells, neutral, floral, food, holiday. So many different ways! There are also tons of different types of candles, one with labels, ones with basic jars, etc. I even found a candle for a friend that was in a Mason Jar mug, so when the candle is burned out she has a mug. You can always get a favorite scented candle for a friend, so they can smell all your favorites too!

Also - if you want to splurge, Yankee Candle has customized candles for the holiday season too!

Socks

Socks are something everyone needs, no matter who you are. Shoes mean socks - especially in the winter. So why not get something that's fun and festive. Plus socks can be either expensive or cheap and they can match the personality of anyone!
